I am going to reveal to you the secret of sanctity and happiness. Every day for five minutes control your imagination and close your eyes to the things of sense and your ears to all the noises of the world, in order to enter into yourself. Then in the sanctity of your baptized soul, (which is the Temple of the Holy Spirit) speak to that Divine Spirit, saying to Him:

We brought Our Lady of Lourdes back from Medjugorje in 1990 ~ I purchased her at the bottom of Apparation Hill; I carried Mary all the way home with me on the plane ~ 30" statue. My dh and I visited Medjugorje in 1990 - my mother, grandmother & grandfather were croation. My grandparents came over to New York from the then Yugoslovia; when they were young and my mother was born in America...my mother past away in 1983- She would of been so happy for me that I was able to go back to the land of my roots! We were only 100 miles from my grandfather & grandmother's village!
It is amazing to realize that Our Lady has been appearing every day in Medjugorje
since June 25, 1981. Thank you Blessed Mother for your love, for your messages, and for your prayers and intercessions for all of us. Thank you Jesus, for sending your mother to us to help us find and stay on the path that leads to you. http://www.medjugorje.org

Jesus
My heart never stops loving and not for a moment does My heart stop
craving love in return. I crave love from you, My dear apostle. You love
Me, I know. You serve Me with steadiness, I know. 'What is it that Jesus
wants from Me that I am not giving', you ask. I will tell you. I want you
to show Me that you understand My love for you by trusting Me. I am hurt
when you do not trust Me. Look at your time of service. Would you agree
that I have provided you with everything you need to see to your part in
My
plan? Would you agree that I have given you consolation when you were
afraid? Have I not guided you when you were unsure? What have I withheld
from you? You are growing in holiness and I am answering your prayers for
your loved ones with heavenly prudence and steadiness. The part you are
called to play in My plan is important and I need your service but I
would
never ask you to serve to the detriment of your holiness. If you are not
increasing in holiness, My dear apostle, it is because you are not
allowing
Me to direct you. Perhaps you are increasing but not as quickly as you
would like. That is another matter altogether. It is for Me to decide how
quickly to advance you. It is for you to cooperate. I am speaking today
so
that I can urge you forward. My apostles must be willing to benefit from
the guidance I am sending. You must sit in silence with Me each day,
asking
Me where you can improve in holiness. What habits are you holding on to
that you need to relinquish? What new habits should replace them?
Apostles,
it is not to stand still that you are called, but to move forward in
holiness. This advance is necessary for these times or I would not be
calling you to it so seriously. I am looking for you to change. I want
you
to grow. Many of you are saintly now, walking closely with Me in each
day.
I rejoice in you, it is true. You know that I do. And yet, I allow you to
remain on earth, to work, yes, but also to become even holier. One of the
ways you can become holy in a short time is by trusting Me in everything.
A
small child does not worry about one meal shortly after she has been fed
another. She trusts her parents to provide for her, particularly if she
has
never gone hungry. You, dear apostles, have never been without My
providence so there is no reason for you to fear. You can trust Me. I
have
proved this to you many times. I desire that you serve in joy and
confidence and only through trusting Me will that be possible. Return My
great love for you by trusting Me in everything.

St. Therese often referred to her body as an envelope, and the letter within, her soul. All saw the envelope and often judged her by it, rather than the letter inside which they could not see, but which told the real story. As a result, she was often misread. Just one example:
One day some of the Sisters were asked to pick apples in the orchard. It was a beautiful day, and Therese so longed to be outside instead of sewing! However, she put her things away slowly, so another could go instead. This little sacrifice and act of kindness was seen by the others as laziness! These are the hidden roses that made our Therese a Saint.
It is the same for all of us. Each of us has been misunderstood at some time, and quite often we have done the same to another, reading the envelope which may appear smudged and torn, rather that the letter within, which could be quite lovely.
Let us read others charitably, and for those who misread us, let us remember how often we have done the same... and be kind in return!

O Mary, Mother of Jesus and Mother of us all, born and unborn, we turn to you today as the one who said "Yes" to Life. Despite your surprise and uncertainty as to how this could be, you accepted God's Will.
Mary, we pray today for all mothers and fathers who may feel apprehensive and overwhelmed by their pregnancy. Intercede for them, that God may give them the grace to say yes and the courage to go on. May they have the grace to reject the lie of abortion. May they say with you, "Be it done unto me according to Your Word."
Help also the Pro-Life movement, that all people will come to value human life as God's precious gift to be accepted and loved rather that a burden to be destroyed. Through your intercession may your Son, Our Lord Jesus Christ, bring about His definitive triumph of life over death. Amen.

About Me
I have been happily married to Craig for 33 years on June 14th (Flag Day)! We have
2 adult boys; Aaron-27 yrs. old, Collin-22 yrs. old, and one daughter still at home, Christina-14 yrs. old. Christina will be a Freshman in High School this
coming Fall. She is taking Private Vocal Lessons this summer and is in the Color Guard in High School; so that means two Summer camp weeks of practice! Go
Muskies' Go!!! Ds- Aaron will help teach marching band this summer at our High School! Go Muskie's Go; again! LOL We have a little dog name
"Pixie" and a dwarf rabbit named "Buttons." My son Aaron has just graduated college and finished his student teaching this Spring; now he
is ready to teach this Fall! Collin is in college and majoring in Computer Networking; he has one more year to receive his Associate Degree. (he made the
Dean's list last semester) :)
I enjoy being with my family, reading, cooking, walking, gardening, knitting and working out at the YMCA on the Strive equipment. I have ran a non-profit book,
rosary and religious supply for almost 13 yrs. now. I received my call for this ministry when Craig and I visited Medjugorje in 1990. It took 6 years before it
happened.....but all in God's time! I feel very blessed to be born on August 15th......the Assumption Day of Mary....my dear earthly mother prayed that I
would be born on this day and her prayers were heard.....she named me after "Mary" and her mother "Anne".
My dh, dd and I usher at the 11:30 Mass on Sunday mornings and I lead the prayer line for our Parish Community.

are fun to give as presents!

My daughter, Christina and I went to go see these women perform last April in Peoria, Illinois and they were absolutely breathtaking.....words cannot describe how wonderful they are to hear and see! Go see them if you ever get the chance!

Our Lord told St. Gertrude the Great that the following prayer would release 1,000 Souls from Purgatory each time it is said. The prayer was later extended to include living sinners as well.

Say this chaplet using regular Rosary beads.
Begin with the Apostles' Creed, one Our Father, three Hail Marys and a Glory Be to the Father just as with Our Lady's Rosary. On the five decades, say the above Prayer for the Holy Souls on each Hail Mary bead and the Our Father on each separator bead between the decades.

Thank you so much for writing! I live in Cape Girardeau which is about an 1 1/2 south of St. Louis and on the river! I love the river!
My husband and I have three kids, 22, 19, and 16. Our son and one daughter go to college here in town and the other daughter is in high school. We all own and teach at our family business- our martial arts school - my husband also teaches marketing at the college, I am a part time youth coordinator at church and the two college kids have parttime jobs too! I admit we are really busy in life, but we eat the evening meal together most every night if one of the kids isn't working. I love our family meals and we have a lot of fun. Everyone is growing up and out though so those times won't last!
Life with older kids is always hectic as you probably know, but I love this age with them.
We've been teaching martial arts-really a Christian version of a self protection for kids to help protect them from abductors, bullies, build confidence, for almost 20 years!
I also write books -I self publish them cause I just wanted to write them for my kids and the kids in our classes. I write a book series called Kip MacAllister Adventures - which is like a martial arts Nancy Drew who becomes a bodyguard!
You should become a Lector at church! I cantor and love it. I train teens to cantor, lector and become Euchartistic Ministers too.
